The data lists the heights (in inches) of students in a statistics class. Identify the mode.
Work it out on paper first. Then open the solution one step at a time, and stop as soon as you can finish on your own.
List each number with its frequency.
Now look for the highest frequency. The highest frequency is which corresponds to the height inches. So the mode of this set of heights is inches.
