Simplify: $3^{4} .$

Work it out on paper first. Then open the solution one step at a time, and stop as soon as you can finish on your own.

Solution

$3^{4}$

Expand the expression. $3 \cdot 3 \cdot 3 \cdot 3$

Multiply left to right. $9 \cdot 3 \cdot 3$

$27 \cdot 3$

Multiply. $81$
