Multiply and Divide Rational Expressions: example 8.17

Multiply: $\frac{10}{28} \cdot \frac{8}{15} .$

Work it out on paper first. Then open the solution one step at a time, and stop as soon as you can finish on your own.

Solution

Multiply the numerators and denominators.

Look for common factors, and then remove them.

Simplify.
