Evaluating the Cosecant Using Technology

Evaluate the cosecant of $\frac{5 π}{7} .$

Solution
For a scientific calculator, enter information as follows:

$\begin{matrix} 1/ (5 \times π / 7) SIN & = \\ \csc (\frac{5 π}{7}) & \approx & 1.279 \end{matrix}$
